At Keen Software House we have two areas of interest:
  • independent game development: Space Engineers, Medieval Engineers, VRAGE engine
  • research and development in artificial intelligence
Keen Software House was founded in 2010 by Marek Rosa, it is privately owned and dictates its direction through team collaboration.

Mission

  1. Real world and science

    We want to create games that closely emulate the real world and reflect real world science.

  2. Hard-sci-fi angle approach

    If we step into the sci-fi area - as we did with Space Engineers and Miner Wars 2081 - we approach it from the hard-sci-fi angle. Every technology and every idea must be explainable using modern-era knowledge with very little extrapolation required.

  3. Historical accuracy

    In Medieval Engineers we hold on to historical accuracy as much as possible while not sacrificing fun, accessibility and intuitiveness.

  4. Science promotion

    We want to use our games to promote science and to encourage creativity. We want to revive the interest in space exploration, physics, history and all STEM fields. Our community can not only play, but learn in the worlds we create for them.

  5. We want to make our fans happy
